Retail trade turnover of Uzbekistan hits 58.643 trln. soums in 2014
Trade turnover of retail trade enterprises reached 21.795 trillion soums in 2014, growing by 11.8% year-on-year. Share of trade organization in total retail trade turnover made up 37.2%.
The volume of sales at agriculture products and cattle at dehkan markets made up 24.109 trillion soums, or rose by 16.4% year-on-year. Their share in total retail trade volume was 41.1% last year.
Trade turnover of cloth and special markets was 12.739 trillion soums in 2014 and grew by 14.5% year-on-year. Their share in total retail trade turnover was 21.7%.
Total volume of wholesale trade was 26.559 trillion soums in 2014 and recorded growth of 10.2% compared to 2013.
About 15.884 trillion soums (+2.8% y-o-y) in structure of wholesale trade fell to share of consumer goods and 10.675 trillion soums – goods of production-technical purpose (+23.8%).
The share of consumer goods in total retail trade turnover was 59.8% in 2014 and goods of production-technical purpose – 40.2%.
