Tashkent Metro Opens Mother-and-Child Rooms at Two Stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent Metro has opened mother-and-child rooms and public toilets at the Mustaqillik Maydoni and Bodomzor stations as part of a programme to improve passenger amenities.

According to the metro operator, the new public toilets are equipped with modern sanitary facilities and the necessary supporting infrastructure.

Mother-and-child rooms and public toilets had previously been introduced at several underground stations in the capital's metro system. With the opening of the new facilities, such amenities are now available at 10 stations.

The metro operator said work to provide additional conveniences for passengers is continuing.
