Qatari Al Alfia to Expand Cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdugani Sanginov, Chairman of the Board of JSC Uzbekneftegaz, held a meeting with Zainab Al-Yusuf, representative of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qatari company Al Alfia Holding. The parties discussed expanding cooperation in the oil and gas sector and implementing joint projects, the press service of JSC Uzbekneftegaz reported.

During the talks, the participants noted the consistent development of trade and economic relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar and reviewed promising areas for further interaction.

Special attention was paid to the localization of lubricant production based at Uzbekistan GTL, as well as the organization of Christmas tree equipment production.

In addition, the parties discussed the possibility of Al Alfia Holding participating in promising projects implemented by JSC Uzbekneftegaz.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed readiness to continue practical work in the designated areas and to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
