President of Uzbekistan to visit South Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea on 19-21 September 2012 on invitation of the President of South Korea Lee Myung-bak.

During the meetings and talks, the heads of state are expected to discuss enhancement of bilateral cooperation, exchange views on actual regional and international issues.

The two sides plan to adopt a Joint Statement and sign a series of bilateral documents dedicated to further the interaction between Uzbekistan and South Korea in priority areas.
