President of Uzbekistan leaves for the Republic of Korea

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 September, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov at the invitation of President Lee Myung-Bak left for the Republic of Korea on a state visit.

During the visit, the two sides will discuss the current state and prospects of enhancing bilateral cooperation, pressing regional and international issues, UzA reported.

They plan to issue a Joint Statement and sign a package of documents dedicated to deepening of the Uzbek-South Korean dialogue in priority areas of interaction.
