President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev is holding a meeting in Khanabad on priority tasks for the socio-economic development of Andijan region.
It was noted that pharmaceutical companies from China and Hungary are showing interest in the Andijan region and intend to organize the production of pharmaceutical products.
The head of state instructed officials to come to an agreement with large companies in these countries and take steps to implement complex projects for the production of medicines and medical products.
It was also instructed to organize a pharmaceutical cluster in the region, combining education and production.
