Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Agency for Industrial Cooperation and Public Procurement held a meeting on 15 September with a delegation from Chinese company Jiangsu Yiershan Group (JYG), led by its head Liu Deliang. The agency reported this.
Jiangsu Yiershan Group is a manufacturing group from Jiangsu Province specializing in textile production and ready-made clothing. Its subsidiaries are also engaged in the production of electrical equipment. The company is currently considering the implementation of several production projects in Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail issues related to national certification of products planned to be manufactured as part of the company’s future projects in Uzbekistan, obtaining certificates of conformity and determining the level of production localization.
The participants also exchanged views on involving local enterprises in cooperation, using domestic production capabilities to manufacture the required products and components, and establishing mutually beneficial industrial cooperation.
The Chinese delegation was provided with the necessary explanations regarding certification and localization processes. Following the meeting, the sides agreed to move the projects under discussion to the practical stage and develop areas of cooperation with local enterprises.
