President confers rank of Ozbekiston Qahramoni to three Uzbek citizens

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a decree on 22 August 2014 on awarding three citizens of the country with the title Ozbekiston Qahramoni (Hero of Uzbekistan).

The award was granted for distinctive services to the state and the people in strengthening the country’s independence and deepening the reforms, long and self-sacrificing work in the industrial sector, as well as great contribution to upbringing the young generation in the spirit of patriotism and devotion to the nation.

Titles of Ozbekiston Qahramoni were conferred to Abdimurat Bazarov, head of farm “Bozor og’li Abdi” of Kamashi district of Kashkadarya region, Shukurjon Mamatkulov, director of Altinkul economic college of Andijan region and Zayniddin Nizamkhodjaev, head of department of Republican special center of surgery named after Academician Vakhidov.
