The unified system of technical regulation of the EAEU has no analogues in international practice

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – The unified system of technical regulation of the EAEU has no analogues in international practice. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin stated this at a business forum in Uzbekistan.

The purpose of a unified system is to ensure that products meet high standards. This is important for the implementation of the four basic freedoms - the movement of goods, services, capital, labor.

Russia is actively helping Uzbekistan in harmonizing technical regulations with the norms of the union. The Republic has already received documentation and equipment for direct confirmation of product conformity, accreditation of testing laboratories, and ensuring the uniformity of measurements.

Russia will continue to provide such support, in particular in the re-equipment of laboratories.

“The governments of Russia and Uzbekistan will provide maximum support to the initiatives of the business community, together create favorable conditions for conducting joint business activities,” the Russian Prime Minister said.
