Pilot project “Center for Contemporary Art” presented in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Culture and Art Development Foundation under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan opened a pilot project for the Center for Contemporary Art in Tashkent on 12 April 2019.

The large-scale project includes: opening of the exhibition, holding a performance, lectures, seminars, film screenings, as well as children's and family workshops with the participation of international guests, which will be held from 13 April to 1 June.

In 2018, the building, which was used by the Tashkent city enterprise of electrical networks, was transferred to the Ministry of Culture. Now there is a "Center for Contemporary Art."
