Phone numbers of emergency services to be changed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Phone numbers of emergency and information services are changing in Tashkent from 5 April 2012, the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information said.

The decision was adopted in order to meet international standards on phone numbers of emergency and information services.

From 5 April 2012, number of fire service will be changes from 01 to 101, police – from 02 to 102, first aid – from 03 to 103, gas service – from 04 to 104 and emergency service from 050 to 1050.

The UzACI underlined that phone number of other services will be also chaned (0xx to 10xx).
