Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Competition Development and Consumer Rights Protection Committee of Uzbekistan has officially recognized Payme JSC as a dominant operator in the digital platform market for online payment systems.
This decision was made based on the Cabinet of Ministers’ Resolution No. 256 from 1 May 2024, which establishes the procedure for determining the dominant position of digital platforms.
According to this procedure and following the relevant order from the Committee, Payme was formally acknowledged as the dominant operator in its segment.
The company independently notified the Committee about achieving indicators that confirm its dominant position in the market.
