“O’zbegim” traditional culture festival to be held in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 September 2017, a traditional culture festival “O’zbegim” will be held in the center of Tashkent.

As part of the festival, Uzbekistan’s leading cook plan to set a Guinness record for cooking the world’s largest pilaf. It should be noted that the organizers plan to cook 8 tonnes of pilaf.

The program of the festival will include master classes in applied arts, there will be performances of rope-walkers, a gastronomic fair, a Tandyr show, a fashion show, a concert of Uzbek pop stars and a fair of applied arts.
