Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- More than 481,400 self-employed drivers transport passengers in Uzbekistan, the country’s Tax Committee said. Among them, there are about 1,500 women drivers.
Approximately 213,100 people work through 6 online aggregators associated with information systems of tax authorities, such as Yandex, Uklon, MyTaxi, Intellekt servis, Promo Technology group, TOTMEGA.
Over the past period of 2024, they paid 20.4 billion soums in taxes. For each transportation service they provide, an electronic fiscal receipt is generated.
Since the beginning of the year, through the issuance of fiscal checks, income amounting to 866.3 billion soums has been legalized, including in January - 73.8 billion soums, in February - 159.4 billion soums, in March - 414.1 billion soums and in April – 219 billion soums.
An additional 125 aggregators are provided with practical assistance in integration.
