Number of students in general education institutions in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, at the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year, the number of students in general education organizations amounted to 6.64 million people.

This figure compared to the 2019/2020 academic year increased by 476,900 people.

Their number by year is as follows:

at the beginning of the 2019/2020 academic year – 6.16 million people;

at the beginning of the 2020/2021 academic year – 6.28 million people;

at the beginning of the 2021/2022 academic year – 6.3 million people;

at the beginning of the 2022/2023 academic year – 6.46 million people;

at the beginning of the 2023/2024 academic year – 6.64 million people.
