Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — New Uzbekistan University held the first meeting of its International Industrial Advisory Council (IAC) on 29 September, bringing together representatives of international companies, academia and leading industries in Uzbekistan.
The plenary session was attended by representatives of the Technical University of Munich, Robert Bosch GmbH, Nexperia, STADA Arzneimittel AG and Berlin University Alliance, as well as the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Uzkhimprom JSC and executives of leading Uzbek organizations and companies.
Participants discussed the university’s mission and strategic objectives, the development of research and innovation projects, and opportunities to expand cooperation between the university and the industrial sector.
Faculty members and staff of New Uzbekistan University presented their research and practical projects.
During the discussions, the participants considered prospects for applying these projects in practice with the involvement of industrial partners.
Thematic sessions covered issues related to industry and production technologies, financial technologies and innovation, management and logistics.
The first IAC meeting provided a platform for interaction between representatives of academia, business and the public sector. Participants discussed the further development of joint educational, research and practical initiatives.
