Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Khumoyun Sultanov has reached the semifinals of the tennis tournament at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games in Japan.

In the quarterfinal, the Uzbek player defeated Chinese Taipei’s Tseng Chun-hsin 7-6 (8-6), 6-2.

Reaching the semifinals has guaranteed Sultanov at least a bronze medal at the Asian Games.

The Uzbek tennis player will now compete for a place in the tournament final.
