Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s Shahriyor Makhkamov won a gold medal at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
Competing in kayaking, the Uzbek athlete won the K1 500-meter event.
Makhkamov’s gold medal became another award for the Uzbekistan national team at the Asian Games.
The Uzbekistan national team has now won 33 medals, including eight gold, 16 silver and nine bronze.
