New US envoy holds meeting at Uzbek Foreign Ministry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan George A. Krol held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 1 July 2011.

Ambassador handed over copies of credentials, addressed to the President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged opinion on the Uzbek-American relations in politics, trade-economic and investment sectors.

The sides also discussed actual issues of regional and international character.
