Navoiyuran and Uzmetkombinat Sign Cooperation Deal

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The joint-stock companies “Navoiyuran” and “Uzmetkombinat” have reached an agreement to develop mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of industrial cooperation. The parties plan to implement joint investment projects focused on localizing the production of drilling equipment used in uranium extraction.

The agreement is aimed at improving production efficiency and expanding the output of goods that replace imported analogues.

Special attention is being given to strengthening the potential of national industry through the introduction of modern technologies and the development of domestic production capacity.

The implementation of the agreements is expected to deepen inter-sectoral cooperation, increase the share of high value-added products, and ensure sustainable economic growth in the country’s industrial sector.
