Namangan medical center receives Austrian equipment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The delivery of modern medical equipment to the Namangan branch of the Republican Specialized Scientific and Practical Medical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics continues as part of the institution's modernization project.
To implement the project, the Hokimiyat of Namangan Region signed a 10 million euro contract with the Austrian company AME International GmbH.
To date, the medical facility has already received 329 units of equipment across 63 categories, with a total value of 9.6 million euros.
The Hokim of Namangan Region, Shavkat Abdurazzakov, inspected the delivered equipment. He emphasized the necessity of using the new machinery efficiently to improve the quality of medical assistance provided to the population.
Under the terms of the contract, the remaining part of the equipment—comprising 16 units across seven categories with a total value of 0.4 million euros—is scheduled to be delivered to the hospital by the end of this year.
