Tashkent Region Delegation Visits Belarus

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Tashkent region, led by regional Khokim Zoir Mirzayev, is on a working visit to the Republic of Belarus. Within the framework of the trip, a meeting was held with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Property Management Directorate of the Republic of Belarus, Nikolai Sherstnev.

During the negotiations, the parties noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Belarus are developing on the basis of a strategic partnership and principles of mutual trust defined by the leaders of the two states.

The meeting participants emphasized that bilateral cooperation spans industry, agriculture, investments, healthcare, education, tourism, and the humanitarian sphere, forming a foundation for the further expansion of mutually beneficial ties.

Zoir Mirzayev presented information on the economic and investment potential of the Tashkent region, opportunities for developing cooperation, and the implementation of joint projects.

The Belarusian side highly praised the potential of the region and expressed interest in the further expansion of trade, economic, and investment interaction, as well as in strengthening direct contacts between representatives of the business communities of the two countries.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue a systematic dialogue on the development and implementation of concrete investment projects and to raise cooperation to a new level.

Within the framework of the working visit of the Tashkent region delegation, meetings and negotiations are also scheduled with representatives of official structures and large businesses.
