Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan defender Abduqodir Khusanov has been ranked among the 10 fastest players at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. During the tournament, he reached a top speed of 36.46 km/h, placing sixth in the overall rankings.

Among defenders, the Uzbekistan international recorded the third-fastest speed at the tournament.

France forward Kylian Mbappe topped the ranking with a speed of 37.61 km/h. Sweden's Anthony Elanga (37.16 km/h) and Netherlands defender Micky van de Ven (36.77 km/h) completed the top three.

The top 10 fastest players at the tournament also included Jordan Bos of Australia, Erling Haaland of Norway, Bradley Barcola of France, Djed Spence of England, Theo Hernandez of France and Nelson Semedo of Portugal.

Abduqodir Khusanov's performance was one of the Uzbekistan national team's most notable individual achievements at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
