Murodbek Sherliev appointed head of Road Safety Service

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Murodbek Sherliev has been appointed head of the Road Safety Service of the Public Safety Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, according to a spokesperson for the ministry.

Sherliev succeeds Sherzod Ibragimov in this position, following Ibragimov's recent appointment as First Deputy Commander of the National Guard.

Prior to his new appointment, Sherliev served as Deputy Head of the Road Safety Service of the Public Safety Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
