Over 34,000 transactions processed via escrow accounts in June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 34,387 purchase and sale transactions for real estate and vehicles were processed through the escrow account mechanism in Uzbekistan in June 2026, according to the country's Central Bank.

Of the total number of transactions, 19,241 involved vehicles, while another 15,146 involved real estate properties. Additionally, as of the end of the month, 834 transactions were under review.

The highest activity for processing transactions via escrow accounts was recorded in Tashkent, where 9,373 transactions were registered during June.

Among the regions, the highest figures were recorded in the Ferghana region with 3,456 transactions, the Samarkand region with 2,990, and the Andijan region with 2,737.

According to the Central Bank, the use of the escrow account mechanism remained in demand during June for processing transactions involving real estate and vehicles.
