Saida Mirziyoyeva Discusses Strategic Ties in Astana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saida Mirziyoyeva, conducted a series of working meetings with high-ranking officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan during an official visit to Astana. The talks were dedicated to analyzing the current state of bilateral relations and identifying prospects for deepening multifaceted Uzbek-Kazakh cooperation.

At a meeting with the Head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan, Roman Sklyar, the sides substantively discussed mechanisms for interagency cooperation. Following the dialogue, an agreement was reached to launch more flexible and effective communication channels between the administrations of the heads of the two states. This step aims to ensure consistent oversight and rapid practical implementation of all large-scale agreements previously reached at the highest level between Tashkent and Astana.

Additionally, the Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan held talks with the State Counselor of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Erlan Karin. During the conversation, the parties outlined key vectors for long-term partnership, placing a special emphasis on tools of cultural diplomacy.

Meeting participants separately highlighted the significant role of the younger generation as a crucial link in strengthening good-neighborly relations between the two brotherly nations.

The negotiation program also covered expanding technological exchange and launching promising joint initiatives in the field of high technologies.
