Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A girl was born inside an ambulance in Saykhunabad District of Syrdarya Region while her mother was being transported to hospital. The delivery was assisted by the duty doctor and paramedic accompanying the woman, the press service of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Health reported.
The incident occurred at around 03:30 on 1 November. During the journey to the medical facility, the woman’s contractions intensified, and the medical team had to deliver the baby in the ambulance.
Duty doctor Khonsuluv Masrurova and paramedic Salima Mavlonova promptly assessed the patient’s condition and provided the necessary assistance. A healthy girl was born.
Both mother and child are doing well and are currently under medical supervision.
