Moderate earthquake shakes Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A moderate earthquake with the epicenter at the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan was recorded in Tashkent at 12:36 of 19 July 2012.

According to the seismic station Tashkent, the earthquake magnitude was 2-2.5 in Tashkent.

According to USGS, epicenter of earthquake was in territory of Afghanistan, 26 km to southern-western direction of Khorough city in Tashkent. The magnitude at the epicenter is 5.5.
