Moderate earthquake shakes Uzbek capital

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A moderate earthquake with power of 4.5 points shook Tashkent city on Friday morning. The earthquake was registered at 07:38 on 22 February.

According to the seismic station Tashkent, the epicenter of the earthquake was 20 km away (to west) from the capital city of Tashkent. The magnitude of earthquake was 4.

Tashkent citizens can feel earthquake for several seconds. The earthquake shook furniture and chandeliers. The alarms of automobiles also worked due to earth tremors.
