Mobile companies of Uzbekistan discuss joint use of base stations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Mobile companies of Uzbekistan are discussing an issue of joint use of base stations, Director General of Unitel LLC Dmitry Shukov said on 16 August.

According to him, cellular operators of Uzbekistan are discussing the joint use of each other’s base stations.

He noted that the mobile operator does not necessarily all enter one city. Shukov said that if one company works in one city, other companies could use their infrastructure.

Dmitry Shukov noted that many companies are working now in this scheme. He noted that this will allow the operator to save money and provide services.
