Minister of Economy pays visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Bulgaria led by Minister Traicho Traikov paid a working visit to Uzbekistan from 29 September to 2 October.

Gazeta.uz reported that Traicho Traikov met with the Minister of Economy of Uzbekistan Galina Saidova, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade of Uzbekistan Ravshan Gulyamov, chairperson of Uzbekneftegaz national holding company Shokir Fayzullaev and Uzbektourism national company Rustam Mirzayev.

During the meeting, the sides considered issues of developing trade-economic, investment, and tourism cooperation, as well as opening of charter flight between Uzbekistan and Bulgaria, and easing visa regime for tourists.

The Bulgarian delegation also familiarized with culture and history of Uzbekistan, as well as sights of Tashkent and Samarkand.
