Timofeeva Reaches Makarska WTA 125 Quarter-finals

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Maria Timofeeva advanced to the quarter-finals of the WTA 125 tournament in the Croatian city of Makarska, according to the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan.

In the second round, Timofeeva faced Croatian player Lea Boskovic and secured a straight-sets victory, winning 6-4, 6-3.

The result keeps the Uzbek player in contention for the title and earns her a place among the tournament’s final eight competitors.

For a spot in the semi-finals, Timofeeva will face Moroccan player Yasmine Kabbaj.
