MFERIT acquires state assets of foreign trade companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade (MFERIT) received state assets in the foreign trade companies of Uzbekistan.

The decision on transfer of state assets to the MFERIT was adopted in line with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan “On additional measures on efficient and rational use of state objects” from 9 October 2015.

In particular, the MFERIT will receive 52.93% state stake in Uzprommashimpeks, 51% stake in Markazsanoatexport, 51% in Uzinterimpleks and 51% shares in Uzmarkazimpeks.

The Ministry will also receive 51% state shares in Uzexpomarkaz and 51% stake in Urta Osiyo Trans, as well as 51% stake in Uzexpertiza.a
