Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Anvar Anvarov won the silver medal at the Hungarian Athletics Grand Prix in Budapest, the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan said.
Competing in the men's long jump, Anvarov recorded a best mark of 8.12 metres. He achieved the result on his second attempt, securing second place.
Greece's Miltiadis Tentoglou won the event with a jump of 8.31 metres.
Germany's Simon Batz took the bronze medal, also recording a jump of 8.12 metres.
