Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — At the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Tatarstan, a meeting was held between Deputy Minister German Lerner and a delegation from the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan led by Deputy Governor Alisher Zakirov.
During the negotiations, German Lerner presented Tatarstan's industrial potential and discussed prospects for further cooperation. He noted that collaboration with Uzbek partners encompasses several key sectors, including petrochemicals, energy, mechanical engineering, and medicine.
According to him, an important tool for strengthening foreign economic ties is the establishment of joint industrial parks, which lay the foundation for long-term partnership development between Tatarstan, foreign countries, and Russia as a whole.
During the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the government of the Kashkadarya region and the company Tatlift. The document was endorsed by the signatures of Deputy Governor Alisher Zakirov and the General Director of LLC Tatlift, Gulshat Zagidullina.
According to the memorandum, the production of Tatlift elevator equipment will be organized within the special economic zone of the Kashkadarya region.
The project is aimed at the production of finished products and the creation of favorable conditions for the development of the elevator industry in Uzbekistan.
