Medical industry produces goods for 428bn soums in 2013

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Enterprises of medical industry of Uzbekistan produced industrial goods for 428 billion soums in 2013, which grew by 17.1% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The enterprises of the industry increased production of medicaments by 14.6%, including ointments - by 66.7%, infusion drugs - 43.5%, antibiotics of dry wastage - 17, 9% and medicaments in capsules - 17.0%, liquid medicaments - 8.9% and injectable medicaments - 6.3%....

At the same time, the production of bandages rose by 57.4% in 2013.
