Labor Inspection Investigates Construction Collapse in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The State Labor Inspection has launched an investigation following a ground collapse at a construction site in the Orzu massiv of Tashkent's Olmazor District. According to preliminary data, one person was injured as a result of the incident.

The agency reported that the incident has been taken under control.

As part of the investigation, specialists will establish the causes and circumstances of the incident, examine factors that could have led to the accident, and provide a legal assessment of the actions of responsible individuals.

Following the review, the State Labor Inspection promised to provide additional official information.
