Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of the Republic of India Droupadi Murmu received the delegation of Uzbekistan led by Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov in New Delhi on 3 August 2026.

According to the head of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, warm greetings and best wishes from President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev were conveyed to the Indian leader at the beginning of the meeting.

During the talks, the parties discussed the further activation of political dialogue, expansion of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

In addition, the meeting participants exchanged views on topical issues on the regional and international agendas and reviewed prospects for cooperation within international organizations.

Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed gratitude to the President of India for the warm reception and reaffirmed the readiness of the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and India to continue joint work on further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two states.
