Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The expert and specialist on tourism development, attached to the Tourism Committee from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) - Yumi Mizumori completed her three-year activity in Uzbekistan.
At the official farewell ceremony with the Japanese expert, the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Aziz Abduhakimov participated and expressed his gratitude to Ms. Mizumori for the successful work carried out in Uzbekistan since 2021.
“In cooperation with Yumi Mizumori in the field of tourism in our country, 11 projects of JICA were implemented. Thanks to her efforts, Uzbekistan participated with its stand at the largest tourist exhibition in the world - “Japan Expo”, organized in the cities of Tokyo and Osaka. In addition, projects were implemented to promote and increase the interest of tourists in Japan,” - the Minister A.Abduhakimov emphasized.
At the end of the event, Ms. Yumi Mizumori was expressed gratitude for her hard work in Uzbekistan and wishes for success in future activities.
