Jasurbek Jaysunov wins gold at WT President's Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Jasurbek Jaysunov won a gold medal for Uzbekistan on the second day of the WT World Taekwondo President’s Cup – Asia tournament in Lahore, Pakistan.

Jaysunov took top honors in the men's under-80 kg weight category. In the women's competition, Ozoda Sabirjonova earned a silver medal in the under-67 kg division.

The two podium finishes brought Uzbekistan's medal haul for the second day of competition to one gold and one silver.
