Uzbek Weightlifter Solikha Bakhodirova Wins Asian Bronze

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Weightlifter Solikha Bakhodirova won Uzbekistan's first medal at the Asian Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships, taking bronze in the women's 45kg category. The Uzbekistan Weightlifting Federation reported.

Bakhodirova competed in the junior women's event and lifted 64kg in the snatch to secure the bronze medal at the continental championships.

The medal was Uzbekistan's first at the ongoing Asian Junior and Youth Weightlifting Championships.
