Islam Karimov to pay visit to Turkmenistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov will pay a visit to Turkmenistan soon, UzA news agency reported.

The agency said that within the visit to Sochi (Russia), President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov met a working meeting with President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov.

During the talks the two sides exchanged views on bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan as well as other issues of muual interest.

The leaders of two states also considered practical aspects of upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan.
