Islam Karimov congratulates President of Israel

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has sent a greeting letter to President of the State of Israel Shimon Peres on the national holiday of that country – Independence Day.

Independence Day is main state holiday of Israel, which is marked annually in honour of announcement of the State of Israel on 14 May 1948.

According to the Uzbek State Statistics Committee, trade turnover between two states rose from US$52 million in 2010 to US$66.4 million in 2011.
