Islam Karimov congratulates President of Ghana

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov has sent a greeting letter to President of the Republic of Ghana John Evans Atta Mills on the national holiday of that country – Independence Day.

Ghana celebrates its Independence Day on 6 March. Ghana is a country located in West Africa. The Gold Coast achieved independence from the United Kingdom in 1957, becoming the First sub-Saharan African nation to do so from European Colonialism.
