Investment potential of Uzbekistan presented in Baku
AZPROMO helps Azerbaijani investment companies to enter external markets and stimulate of local products. It unites 400 large companies. It regular publishes materials about tenders and events in Uzbekistan.
The participants familiarized with achievements of Uzbekistan in reforming and modernizing economy, adopted measures in increasing level of employment and prosperity of population, supporting small businesses and private entrepreneurs, Jahon news agency reported.
They also got acquainted with social-economic development of Uzbekistan in 2013 and perspective directions of economic development in 2014. They also received information on preferences and benefits provided to investors at special industrial zones Jizzakh and Angren, as well as special industrial and economic zone Navoi.
The participants also exchanged opinion on further deepening trade- and investment cooperation. The sides expressed interest in cooperation in tourism, textile industry, agriculture, wine industry and other directions.
