Interior Ministry: Fire damages several apartments in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A fire damaged three apartments in the 16-storey building, located at Hamid Alimjan square of Mirzo Ulugbek District of Tashkent city at 11:10 on 24 May 2014, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The anti-fire service of Tashkent city adopted necessary measures and localized the fire, and eliminated it, the ministry said.

The fire damaged internal part of balconies of the apartments and home implements. The cause of the fire and the sum of the damage are clarified now. There was no victims.
