Govn’t approves changes to regulation on registration of deals with vehicles

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan adopted changes to regulation on order of registration of deals with vehicles.

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev signed a corresponding resolution of the government on 29 March 2010.

The changes were introduced to clause 3 of the regulation on order of registration of deals with vehicles, which was approved by the Cabinet resolution from 7 March 2006.

The deals with vehicles should be approved notarially, except in the cases when vehicles are sold to:

• Specialized trade enterprises (vehicle producers, their representatives and distributor organizations);
• Organizations, rendering leasing services on leasing agreement (except leasing of motor transports);
• Credit organizations and leasing companies with the charter capital at least 2 billion soums on leasing agreements of locally made motor cars to legal entities;
• State Property Committee and its territorial divisions, court officers of the Department on execution of court decisions, material-technical and financial supply of courts activities under the Justice Ministry of Uzbekistan through auction trade in established order.

In line with the Law “On notary”, the power of attorneys are also on use and management of vehicles are approved by consuls of consular establishments of Uzbekistan in the established order, the document said.
