Golden medallists of Asian Games in Indonesia to receive US$5,000 each

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an order on 18 September 2018 on promotion of the winners and prize-winners of the XVIII Asian Games in Indonesia, Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov said.

Holders of gold medals will be paid US$5,000, silver medals – US$3,000 and bronze medallists – US$2,000 each.

At the XVIII Asian Games, Uzbek athletes won 22 gold, 39 silver and 33 bronze medals.
