Four family members from Namangan region died from carbon monoxide poisoning

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On the night of 15-16 December, four family members from the Yangi-Namangan district of the Namangan region died from carbon monoxide poisoning.

M. Mukhiddinov (born in 1975), his wife K. Kazakova (1982), their children M. Makhamadkhuzhaeva (2004) and minor Kh. Makhammadova (2009) were found dead.

According to preliminary information, the gas leak occurred from a factory Iranian stove, to which it was connected with a rubber hose through a gas stove.

Examinations are currently being carried out to establish the cause of death.

The district prosecutor’s office is engaged in pre-investigation activities.
