Former UFF Secretary-General passes away

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Former Secretary-General of Uzbekistan Football Federation Zakir Kurbanov, 68, passed away, the UFF press service said.

Born in 1945, Zakir Kurbanov worked at Pakhtakor Tashkent for a long time. In 1980, he was appointed as head of team and ten years later he became chairperson of the board of Pakhtakor.

From 1995 to 2000, Zakir Kurbanov worked at the post of the Secretary-General of Uzbekistan Football Federation.
